Program Details

Northlake Christian Childcare offers full time care Monday through Friday.
Hours of operation: 7 am to 5:30 pm
Ages: 3 years old to 5 years old (must be potty trained)
Curriculum: NCC is designed to provide a developmentally appropriate experience through a
comprehensive pre-kindergarten curriculum that is created by teachers using NC Foundations as a
guide. This prepares children for kindergarten through playful, purposeful, and personalized
instruction. Lesson plans are developed by the teacher using themes that incorporate literacy skills,
math, science, and other areas of learning to create a warm and engaging atmosphere to meet each
child’s unique needs. The day-to-day learning provides development in cognition, communication,
creativity, social/emotional, spiritual, and physical areas. NCC also will utilize Bible stories as part of
our day-to-day curriculum. Parents can review the lesson plans that are posted in the classrooms.
Activities: NCC encourages children to explore as part of our curriculum. Encouraging children to be
creative and expressing who they are with paints and other art materials is essential in a child’s
developmental growth.
